I recently earned my PhD in Computer Science from the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) at MIT, where I explored innovative ways to enhance collaboration, learning, and meaningful interactions between people and technology.

Bingsheng 'Arthur' Yao

Bingsheng 'Arthur' Yao earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Advisor: Prof. Jim Hendler). His research centers on the intersection of NLP and HCI, with a particular focus on Use-Inspired AI. Arthur strives to responsibly design human-centered AI systems with advanced domain-specific NLP technologies to support stakeholders’ collaboration in real-world scenarios, such as medical, healthcare, and education.

Shihan Fu

Shihan is a first-year Ph.D. student at Northeastern University in Computer Science, advised by Dakuo Wang. His research interest lies in human-AI interaction and AI for healthcare.

Yuxuan Lu

Yuxuan is a second-year Ph.D. student at Northeastern University in Computer Science, advised by Dakuo Wang. His research interest lies in natural language processing and human-computer interaction, especially in training, running and utilizing Large Language Models effiently. He is currently working as a intern applied scientist at Amazon A9.com.

Ziyi Wang

Ziyi Wang is a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Northeastern University advised by Prof. Dakuo Wang. Her research interest lies in Natural Language Processing and Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on LLM Agents. (She is a cat lover BTW)

Jiaju Chen

Jiaju Chen is a Master student in Computer Science at Rice University. His research interests lie in Natural Language Processing and Human-Computer Interaction, with a focus on AI for education. His works span from constructing datasets, building models to desigining and developing LLM-empowered applications for education.

Jiachen Li

Jiachen Li is a Computer Science PhD student at Northeastern University, advised by Prof. Beth Mynatt and Prof. Varun Mishra. Her research interests lie at the intersection of health, ubiComp and AI using HCI methods, with a focus on the older adult population.

Wenbo Li

Wenbo is a Master student in computer science at University of Southern California. His research interests lie in human-computer interaction, especially user interfaces for human-LLM interaction and human-AI collaboration

Siyi Wu

Siyi (Reyna) Wu is a Ph.D student in Computer Science at University of Toronto. Her research interests lie in HCI, human-AI collaborations, and interdisciplinary human-human collaborations.

Ruishi Zou

Ruishi Zou is currently a master's student in Computer Science at UC San Diego. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction and Visualization, specifically in how AI could be engineered to derive alternative representations of information that augment the cognitive process of human information processing.

Shao Zhang

I am a last-year PhD student at Shanghai Jiao Tong Univeristy supervied by Prof. Ying Wen. I was a visiting student at Northeastern Human-Centered AI Lab from 2023 to 2024. My research interests include Human-AI Collaboration and Multi-agent System.

Zhiping Zhang

Zhiping is a PhD student at Northeastern University advised by Prof. Tianshi Li. She is working on human-centered privacy research on language models and AI agentics systems.
